HEALTH & SAFETY ANNUAL INSPECTION PROGRAMME

Take advantage of our comprehensive servicing and safety check package. For a fixed fee per truck per annum plus VAT plus the cost of any parts fitted you will receive:

• Full safety inspection.
• One comprehensive preventative maintenance service on your premises (any faults are corrected immediately on site).
• 24-hour breakdown/repair service with positively no charge for labour, mileage or call-out. The cost of materials, parts and service exchange units will never exceed that charged by the truck makers.
• Breakdowns have the highest priority (most repairs are fixed on the spot). Any trucks returned to our workshops can be expected to be despatched back to site within 24 hours. We are parts stockists for all major pallet trucks makers.
• Should a delay occur due to unforeseen supply situations and this creates a problem, you may draw a replacement truck from our hire fleet "free of charge".
• Safety When called out to repair a specific fault, after repairing that fault the truck is subjected to a FULL SAFETY INSPECTION.

• Remove push rods and load wheel brackets, inspect for wear or damage, hand or gun grease.
• Gun grease and/or drive out main frame torsion tube bar, grease by hand, refit.
• Remove arm bolts, inspect for wear, thoroughly hand grease, refit or gun grease.
• Grease by hand pivot assembly, trigger and lowering mechanism.
• Remove string and debris from load and steer wheel axles, check wheels and bearings for wear.
• Gun grease where nipples are fitted, alternatively hand grease.
• Check all lock pins and circlips for wear, replace as required.
• Check for hydraulic leaks, level and condition of fluid, replenish as required.
• Test raise, lower and neutral position, reset (this is a major cause of expensive future repairs).
• Full visual inspection for fractures or indication of stress.
• Report any faults and repair immediately if authorised.
• Show serial number of all trucks on reports.
